â‘¡ Let dry

(To prevent inflammation, it’s important to disinfect and dry carefully.)
*Disinfect every two days and replace the Band-Aid once a day.
*Taking a shower is possible from 3 days after liposuction, with a waterproof Band-Aid on.

2) Precautions after liposuction surgery

â‘  Do not drive on the day of the surgery.

â‘¡ After surgery, some fluid may leak out. Wipe it away gently with sterile gauze. (Especially in the calf, love handle, and groin areas, there may be a lot of fluid leakage – this is normal, do not worry.)

â‘¢ You may experience dizziness when suddenly standing up within the first week after surgery, so please stand up slowly. (Do not take off your compression garment while standing. Do it lying down or sitting up, and get up slowly after checking your condition. Be extra cautious if you have undergone thigh liposuction!)

â‘£ After surgery, it is prohibited to use an electric blanket, hot packs, or ice packs for one month. (Burns or frostbite may occur due to the decreased skin sensitivity after surgery, which could lead to skin necrosis.)

⑤ On the day of surgery, eat a regular meal and get plenty of rest.
Stay hydrated after the surgery by drinking a lot of water.

â‘¥ 2-3 days post-surgery, the swelling will be at its peak and typically lasts for about a week before gradually subsiding. The swelling in the lower body may last a little longer.

⑦ Saunas, hot tubs, etc. are possible one month after the surgery.
(However, light showers are possible three days after the surgery, with the waterproof Band-Aid on, and with caution for dizziness.)

⑧ Symptoms such as bruising, swelling, stiffness, tingling, and a sensation of numbness (where skin does not feel like your own) can occur. However, there’s no need to worry as these symptoms will disappear over time.

⑨ Please walk at least 30 minutes a day starting from the day after surgery. (Proceed with the walking exercises depending on your condition.)

â‘© Be careful after abdominal surgery because bending forward (such as driving or sitting in a chair) can cause the fat to clump or accumulate together, so please maintain a straight and an upright sitting posture.

⑪ Apart from the compression garment, do not wear tight clothes which press on the liposuction area (such as belts, tight underwear, tightly fitting elastic waistband pants). These can cause distortion or deformation of the body contour, so please be careful.

â‘« The compression garment should be worn for one month. After thigh surgery, fat may accumulate unevenly on the inside of the groin, so it is necessary to smooth down the garment after putting it on.

⑬ Alcohol and smoking are prohibited for at least a month after surgery.

â‘ Meridian massages are strictly prohibited for up to three months as they may cause bruising or swelling to worsen.

3) Precautions after calf liposuction
Remove the pad from the ankle area the day after surgery.
Please pull the calf compression garment up to the back of the knee.
*If the compression garment is rolled up, the pressure may increase, and blood circulation problems may occur, resulting in pigmentation or blisters.
A red liquid may leak from the incision site – this is not blood, it is a medical fluid, so please don’t worry. After self-disinfection, you can apply sterile gauze to the area, attaching it with medical tape.
After stitch removal, you should continue to self-disinfect and wear a Band-Aid for 3 more days. When showering, apply a waterproof Band-Aid.

4) How to self-massage each body part
â‘  Abdomen:
Rub your hands around your belly button as if drawing a circle, and rub the sides upward with gentle strokes.

â‘¡ Thighs:
Make long strokes from the bottom to the top. Massage the inner thighs with gentle strokes.

â‘¢ Arms:
Make long strokes from the bottom to the armpits. Massage the armpits upwards to the breast with gentle strokes.

â‘£ Calves:
